Ron Lyman is Founder, President, & CEO of Lyman Real Estate which is located in the center of town. He oversees all aspects of the business including office retail and industrial leasing, investment sales, and development. Ron has over 45 years of expertise in real estate transactions. Throughout his time he has acquired, developed, managed, and sold numerous projects. He is also an active Broker throughout Connecticut, representing buyers or tenants for expansions and landlords' leasing or sales. Ron also holds his real estate brokers license in CT, RI, MA and FL.
Locally, Ron developed and owns Maxs Place, a 128,000 SF retail shopping center in Old Saybrook that opened in 2014. It is co-anchored by Big Y and Kohls. Other retailers in the project include Ulta Beauty, Choice Pets, Five Guys, Super Cuts and T-Mobile.
Ron has worked closely with local planning and zoning boards to make sure to use New England style architecture and that all requirements are met and expectations are exceeded in the shoreline community.
Lyman Real Estate is passionate about giving back to the community, as well as across the state through supporting several organizations.
Ron moved full time to Westbrook in 2006 with his wife Jackie where they have raised their three sons, Sam, Max, and Jack.
Rons oldest son Tyler, as well as Sam are following in their fathers footsteps, also in the commercial real estate business,
Max and Jack currently attend Northeastern University in Boston.
Jackie launched the residential business six years ago in their Westbrook office where Jackie has been the number one sales person in the town of Westbrook for total sales volume for three years, including this past year.
Sounds like one could call it a family affair.
