    The Shops at Arlington Village is a high end grocery anchored shopping village, located at the "main and main" intersection of the fastest growing city in Tennessee. The project is positioned directly across the street from the largest high school in Tennessee and the project has the first Kroger Marketplace in the Memphis, TN MSA, and is complimented by two shop buildings and four outparcels. The project required rezoning, and is being developed under a "PD" zoning designation. The buildings are four sided masonry construction. The site features sculpture installation, incorporates the Loosahatchie hike and bike trail extension, enhanced landscaping with 30% greenspace, oversized outdoor dining areas and a trail pavilion.The land assemblage for The Shops at Arlington Village took over a year to complete and involved multiple owners. Site engineering was complicated as a result of the slope across the site and a riparian area which defines the eastern boundary. Significant roadway improvements to Airline Road and Milton Wilson Boulevard were required by the Town. The Loosahatchie hike & bike trail was extended through the site along Hall Creek, which necessitated the extensive use of retaining wall.The Shops at Arlington Village is being developed by SHOP Development.
