ABOUT COMMERCIAL AGENT Robert Stevens

Robert Stevens is a 1980 MBA from Loyola University of New Orleans. Stevens real estate career began in 1978; while attending graduate school, he worked with a painting contractor and sold residential real estate. In 1979 he accepted a position with South Central Bell Telephone Company and performed corporate real estate acquisitions. In 1984 he began working for Travelers Insurance Company as commercial investment manager for Louisiana. While in this position, he performed both commercial lending and asset management duties. In 1985 Stevens successfully completed all course requirements for an MAI appraisal designation. From 1988 to 1994, before opening The Stevens Realty Group, he was involved in property management. He was Senior Vice President at Westminster Management Company and then President of Real Estate Management Corporation.

Currently, he is a member of the National, Louisiana, and New Orleans boards of Realtors and an associate member of CCIM. He was also elected to the Louisiana REALTORS New Orleans Metropolitan Political Action Team in 2016. Stevens was president of the New Orleans Commercial Investment Division (CID) in 2011 and Commercial Director of the Louisiana Realtors in 2015. He also received CIDs Service to the Industry Award in 2013, as well as consecutive sales and leasing volume achievement awards from 2013-2016. He was also CIDs top overall producer of land transactions in 2015.
