ABOUT COMMERCIAL AGENT Robert Armstrong

Robert has been brokering land sales in the Georgia area since 1982. He began his career with Royal LePage where he was consistently designated a Top Five producer in an office of 35 to 40 agents. Robertcontinued to be recognized as one of the Top Five Land Sales Agent&47; Broker in Metropolitan Atlanta and the state of Georgia. He was recognized as one of the Top Three in 2005 and 2006 by the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors in land sales and was ranked number two in 2008.

In March of 1999, Robert W. Armstrong founded Atlanta Land Group (ALG) along with Jay Leslie. ALG has been a licensed Real Estate Brokerage Firm in the state of Georgia from 1999 to 2019 and continue to be members of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors. The Atlanta Land Group trade name is still active and vital. In 2011, ALG merged with Keller Williams Commercial, however, Atlanta Land Group remains the boutique firm it has always been. Today, the company benefits from its alliance with Keller Williams Commercial's national platform with more than 139,000 associates and presence in over 900 market centers.

Over the past nearly two decades, Robert and Jay and their agents have provided professional services to their clients which include land acquisition, zoning advocacy, assisting in site planning and design of over two billion dollars of commercial and residential property. Robert's list of clients range from local, regional and national firms specializing in small and large scale mixed use projects, retail, automotive, office, residential and multi-family uses. Additionally, he has represented land owners with unique characteristics throughout Georgia, North and South Carolina.

In 2015, Robert and Jay were recognized as the 1 & 2 Top Performing Commercial Agents in the Southeast Region, and Atlanta Land Group was recognized as the Top Performing Group in the Southeast Region. Robert, Jay, and his sales agents and licensed associate brokers on staff have a combined Real Estate experience totaling over 130 years.

Robert and his wife of 31 years, Leslie, reside in Peachtree Corners, Georgia. Robert's oldest daughter, Anne Marie, a Wesleyan School graduate, earned 10 State of Georgia High School Championships in basketball, volleyball and track. She earned a full athletic scholarship to UGA where she was a four year starter, one time All SEC First Team honor, two time Sweet Sixteen and one time Elite Eight Team Member in the NCAA Tournament. Anne Marie was drafted as the 32nd pick into the WNBA and played for the Atlanta Dream in 2013. Currently, she plays professional basketball internationally, and recently was licensed to sell Real Estate in the state of Georgia.

Robert Jr. graduated from Greater Atlanta Christian School in 2011 and played on the State High School Championship Team in 2010 and went to the Elite Eight game in 2011. Robert Jr. played basketball for two years on an Athletic Scholarship at Georgia State and College University. He transferred to the University of Georgia and completed his undergraduate degree, graduating Cum Laude. He accepted a position in the accelerated management training program with Lexus Motorcars at the Southeast Regional office. More recently, Robert accepted a sales position with ADP. Natalie, the youngest of their children, has recently graduated from Wesleyan where she played volleyball and basketball. In her freshman year, the volleyball team won the State of Georgia AA Championship. During Natalie's sophomore year (2014), Wesleyan won the Georgia AA State Championship. Natalie scored 17 points to lead all scorers. In her senior year, Wesleyan won the State Basketball Championship. Natalie is a junior at Samford University where she will major in occupational therapy and on a full Division I scholarship for college basketball.

She finished 2nd team all conference in her sophomore year. All of the members of the Armstrong family are active members of their church, school and business communities in the North Fulton and Gwinnett County areas. Robert is an avid cross country endurance motorcycle racer and enthusiast. He was is an active volunteer for the Atlanta Steeplechase for over 30 years prior to its recent demise.

Robert has been involved in over $1 billion in land sales since 1982 in metropolitan Atlanta and he plans to stay actively involved in the commercial real estate brokerage for many years to come.
