ABOUT COMMERCIAL AGENT Joseph Cortez

Joseph Cortez is the director of operations for DHRPs coastal bend residential division, The Create Realty Group. Additionally, he works with both residential and commercial clients.

With over 15 years of full-time real estate experience, Joseph brings a wealth of expertise to DHRP. He spent four years as a commercial loan analyst with Frost Bank in Corpus Christi before beginning his full-time career in real estate.

Joseph has personally closed over 500 transactions and $100 million in residential and commercial sales. As a broker and team leader he has overseen another 500 plus transactions. He brings a lot of experience and knowledge to every deal. Over 90 percent of his business is derived from repeat and referral clients. It is his goal to serve his clients so well that they are willing to refer others to him and his team.

Since 2013 Joseph has operated brokerages as both a franchisee and as an independent operator. In October of 2022 his path crossed with DHRP. The shared vision and culture between the two operations was evident and an alliance was developed. The Create Realty Group moved to become a division of DHRP and to help serve its clients in a broader capacity. Joseph and his team bring extensive residential experience and DHRP strengthens Josephs passion for creating opportunities in both commercial and residential sales.

Joseph is married with two daughters. He enjoys golf, fishing, music and has appeared as an acting cast member in several shows with the Corpus Christ Ballet supporting his daughters and the local arts. Recently he has ventured into the arts of cooking and photography to continue his path of self-growth and love of learning.
