Terri Harrington launched Harrington Commercial Real Estate Services in 2021 after nearly three decades of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Her career began in 1993 in building operations, management and leasing with national developer, The Rouse Company. Harrington began her brokerage career in 1999 and has worked with firms that include both international company Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) and local firm MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services. Harrington's diverse experience includes leasing executive suites, mixed-use properties, high-rise office buildings and a variety of commercial product including office, retail, flex and new development projects in both suburban and urban locations. She applies this broad experience in tenant representation of both corporate and non-profit clients in commercial space site selection. She also represents building owners in leasing, acquisition, and disposition of their properties.
A variety of unique career assignments include the conversion of the Federal Reserve Bank and American Urological buildings from single user to multi-tenant office buildings, the lease transaction to bring the first supermarket to the Central Business District, and the sale of the Monumental Life building preventing a huge vacancy from overshadowing Baltimore's vibrant Mt. Vernon neighborhood. Currently Harrington represents several prominent Downtown Baltimore office towers and Port Covington, a 235-acre redevelopment project located on Baltimore's prime waterfront.
After graduating college Harrington spent more than 20 years, first full-time then as a hobby, as an award-winning radio news anchor and reporter in Baltimore and the surrounding areas.
