Ryan also spearheads numerous office and land transactions, having an extensive background in agriculture. Ryan began his commercial real estate career in college while attending the University of South Carolina where he earned a Bachelors degree in both biology and business with a focus in real estate finance. During his third year at the University Ryan got his foot in the door working for NAI Avant Commercial Real Estate in Columbia, SC where he secured a full-time position as a Property Manager upon graduation in 2008. In 2011, Ryan relocated to NAI Avant Charleston.

In January 2012, Ryan joined the Lee & Associates Charleston firm with major hopes to shore up the industrial real estate division, in which he did not disappoint. From the start, Ryan possessed unparalleled determination and was known for his proactive and prompt approach.
