As a former US Marine, Matt brings a strong work ethic and a high level of discipline to the commercial real estate industry. Having been in high-stakes situations while on active duty, he has the ability to analyze and handle any situation that comes his way. His precision and discipline serve as invaluable skills while working in tenant and landlord representation.

In his time with Commercial West, Matt has built a strong client list and is actively involved in deals with national landlords and tenants. Matt has built key relationships with national landlords (The Irvine Company, Richman Group) as well as growing regional concepts (Cookie Co. Sessions).

Matt is a graduate of University of California Santa Barbara where he competed for the Division I swim team.

About Matt Berry's military experience: As a Reconnaissance Marine in the United States Marine Corps, Matt was recognized top of class. He received multiple awards for training achievement and outstanding performance. His special operations training included water and land reconnaissance, foreign internal defense, surveillance and intelligence, small raids, and more.
