Lorraine Adney is a successful and creative retail real estate consultant with years of local, national and international experience. She is entrepreneurial, with excellent business development skills and a proven track record of brand building. Through her transactional work she has successfully partnered with both brands and landlords to change the retail landscape in new and redevelopment projects as well as on Chicago's high streets. Lorraine understands how important it is for the physical presence of the retail venue to seamlessly weave into the overall narrative and image of the target brands.
Through her tenures at Baum Realty Group, RKF Chicago, The McDevitt Company and as an independent broker, Lorraine represented retailers in leasing over 350,000 square feet in the Chicago market. She established first Chicago locations for both popular and luxury brands in the areas of lifestyle, fashion, home and beauty. She takes pride in Chicago's vibrant retail scene and makes top local independent brands a priority as they seek to relocate or expand in the Chicago market or to other markets. She has advised tenants in expanding their network nationally as well as internationally. Past and current clients include Blake, Independence Chicago, Versace, marc jacobs, Church's English Shoes, rag & bone, Credo Beauty, Slowear, Burrow, Ministry of Supply, Paper Source and Clare V.
Lorraine's Landlord work is balanced by a deep understanding of what tenants want. With this knowledge she has guided large and small developers through retail leasing strategies; project layouts; merchandising and formulation of impactful marketing materials that are targeted and brand appropriate. She currently consults for the owner of Center 1 Tulsa as he looks to add select nationals to a powerful local brand line up.
