Joshua D. Murphy joined Independence Commercial Advisors in 2022 specializing in Office and Industrial investment sales. Josh has been an active investment professional in Central Texas since 2012. Previously, a senior vice president of investment sales with NAI Partners, Josh started his career at Marcus & Millichap as part of the National Office and Industrial Properties Group after a fourteen-year career in residential real estate investing. He specializes in investment property sales of professional office, medical office, and industrial properties in the Central Texas market with a focus on the San Antonio MSA. Mr. Murphy's expertise lies in his product specialization and his ability to approach each transaction with his client's best interest as his primary objective. His clients appreciate his direct approach to delivering the facts about value, markets, and being realistic about what he can deliver. Mr. Murphy's track record of helping clients maximize returns by executing first-class marketing initiatives has resulted in long-term relationships. Mr. Murphy has extensive experience with commercial construction methods and materials. After receiving his BS in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University, he worked in various disciplines of the commercial construction industry including commercial roofing, waterproofing, masonry, concrete, and site works products. He is currently licensed as an EIT by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers. He is also licensed as a CDT by the Construction Specifiers Institute and as a RRO by the Roof Consultants Institute.
