ABOUT COMMERCIAL AGENT John Winsor

John Winsor is the Director of retail and restaurant transactions for the Olive Real Estate Group, Inc., with a primary focus on leasing and sales. He has a long history with the Olive Company, having been recruited by the company founders directly out of college in 1983. He started his career as a leasing agent for retail/office and restaurant properties. In 1985, just two years after joining the company, he became a partner and took on the additional responsibility of overseeing the leasing, marketing and management of Olive's retail properties. He was also involved in the complex leasing negotiations and marketing of a number of Class A and B office buildings.

In 1993, John took a one-year hiatus, working as Senior Leasing and Marketing Representative for Lamar Companies. After one year, he rejoined the newly formed Olive Real Estate Group as a principal specializing in retail and restaurant transactions. Over his career, his expertise has expanded to include the sale and purchase of retail and restaurant land for third party clients, development of shopping centers, shopping center evaluation, renovation, leasing strategy, marketing, advertising, and sales.

John is well-known and respected throughout the community where he has been involved with the YMCA's Big Brother program, Ronald McDonald House, Economic Development Council, The National Sports Center for the Disabled, the Colorado College Athletic Board and the board for Project Angel Heart.
