ABOUT COMMERCIAL AGENT John Thompson

John Thompson joined Lee & Associates in January 2021 as part of The Retail Advantage team, after six years with Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, where he served as managing director of Retail in the companys Cincinnati, Ohio office. Since 1991, Mr. Thompson has specialized in retail real estate in the Cincinnati market, working on the marketing of shopping centers, freestanding retail and retail land. John has also acted as a tenantbuyer representative for a variety of clients on site selection projects from initial market studies through multiple store openings. Previous to Lee & Associates, Mr. Thompson spent almost twenty years with The Everest Group where he was responsible for all retail property brokerage, with a concentration on the leasing and sale of exclusively listed shopping centers and other retail properties.

Mr. Thompson also acts as an advisor to clients seeking to buy and sell real estate investments and has been involved in the sale of many major Cincinnati area investment properties. As the Cincinnati Board of Realtors multi-year Top Retail Producer, he is one of the most experienced retailinvestment specialists in the greater Cincinnati market.
