Jim Winter joined Hanna Langholz Wilson Ellis in October 2017. Jim offers an extensive background in commercial real estate work having begun his career as an accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and evolving into the position of National Director of Industrial Services for Cresa, North America's largest tenant representation firm.
While at Cresa, Jim was responsible for the organization, development, recruitment, and management of the Industrial brokerage platform for North America. Jim aided in the growth of the industrial transaction revenue over 30 year over year for the past 2 years. Jim also successfully built the Industrial Business Development platform by increasing Cresa's client base of Fortune 500 companies.
Between being an accountant for PWC and National Director at Cresa, Jim worked at Alcoa in Internal Audit, Controller's Office, and Treasury and finally as the Director of Real Estate handling over 500 leases and 150 million square feet. In addition, he was involved in over $1 billion in lease transactions, $2 billion in property dispositions and $4 billion of property acquisitions of industrial, office, and vacant land.
