A native and lifelong Oregonian, Doug started his professional career as a news reporter after earning a degree. He developed strong interpersonal skills and a firm understanding of the values of Portlanders while working in local radio and TV for more than two decades.

Doug lives in North Portland with his wife of 23 years, Kristen, and his daughter. He enjoys the variety of riches that living in the Northwest affords and can be found working on home game nights with the Portland Trail Blazers.
