ABOUT COMMERCIAL AGENT Debi Carter

Debi joined Capstone Commercial in May 2016 to spearhead the formation of their Health Care Division. She will be responsible for building a team of health care brokers and overseeing the leasing, tenant advisory, investment sales and development for healthcare clients. She has specialized in medical and dental office space for more than 15 years.

Ms. Carter has vast experience in the marketing, leasing and disposition of medical properties. She has represented owners and landlords of newly constructed properties as well as the sale and leasing of second generation spaces. She has provided site selection services for Fresenius Dialysis Centers, Dallas Nephrology, Patients Comprehensive Cancer Care Center and several Urgent Care Centers. Debi also was instrumental in creating physician owned medical office developments in McKinney, Allen, Highland Village, Plano, Frisco. Rockwall, Richardson & Dallas.

She started her career as a leasing agent with a Dallas based developer, becoming a Partner in 1990. As Partner, she was responsible for overseeing the development of the company's office, office&47;flex, and industrial properties. Some development properties of note include Flextronics International's Plano, TX. Campus, a 120 acre master planned development located in Plano's Research Technology Corridor. She was also the development partner overseeing more than 1,000,000 square feet of office&47;flex and industrial space in Plano's Jupiter&47;190 Business District. In addition, she oversaw the firm's development of office&47;flex properties in Dallas, Las Colinas, Addison, Richardson, Las Vegas, and Phoenix.

Debi was one of the first women in the Dallas commercial real estate market to become a Partner for a major development firm. She was involved in all development activities including land acquisitions, feasibility studies, design criteria, preparation of construction budgets, procurement of equity and debt, establishing leasing standards, developing marketing plans, and disposition of the asset.. This background allows her to advise dental and medical users and gives them the professional guidance they need for their commercial real estate decisions.

Debi is a Cum Laude graduate of the University of Texas-Dallas with a BS in Economics & Finance. She is also a Texas real estate broker, and a CCIM designee.
