It's been over 30 years since I first started in real estate, and even after all this time, I still love it. One of my favorite parts is the story. The owners, the sellers, the buyers, the landlords, the tenants, the property managers. The current dreams, the past dreams, and the future dreams. There's a story behind it all, and the property itself is the lead character. It's the intertwining element that connects it together. And then there's the magic in the eyes of those who're buying their first investment property, and all the hopes and dreams in front of 'em. I could go on and on about my love affair with real estate, and most of it relates to people and their story.
All those years ago, I started in real estate appraisal, later obtained a sales agent license, taught Real Estate Appraisal at Midland College for several years, served as member of the State of Texas Property Tax Consultant Advisory Council for a couple of terms, and currently serving on the Texas Realtor Public Policy Taxation Committee. I'm an active sales agent with The Real Estate Company, and maintain my Certified General Appraiser license.
From the moment I acquired my sales agent license, I've maintained it with the same brokerage company. Loyalty and trustworthy relationships are important in my book. Our hometown brokerage is like family. So if you happen to have a commercial real estate need, we'd like an opportunity to help, and we'll treat ya like family.
