This is an ideal site for Commercial or Mixed Use Development. The city is in the process of a General Plan Update, and has indicated a willingness to rezone a portion to Multi Family Housing. There is a need for good affordable housing and/or new Apartments in San Jacinto. All of the existing Apartments are very old. The newly constructed Casino has added 600 jobs, and many of the people taking those jobs will be looking for a nice place to live. This is also an ideal site to land bank. The County is moving forward with the Mid-County Parkway, which will be very close to the subject property. The realignment of Rt 79 is also close to the site. And a bond measure has been passed to improve and expand Mt. San Jacinto College, which is less than a half mile to the north. There is also a High School and a Grade School within walking distance of the site.
