ABOUT COMMERCIAL AGENT Thomas Kirbo

Tom Kirbo has spent more than 30 years in the commercial real estate and brokerage industries. He was a founding partner of SK Commercial Realty (SKCR) when it was formed in 2012, and currently serves as the firms president and managing broker. In addition to overseeing all of the companys brokerage services, Kirbo is also involved with the companys acquisition, development and disposition of its owned commercial property portfolio. Prior to founding SKCR, he started Kirbo Property Services (KPS) in 2001. KPS was a full service commercial real estate brokerage and development firm that focused primarily on healthcare real estate.

Before SKCR and KPS, Tom began his career as a property and project manager for Scott & Associates, Inc. He later worked with The Lea Richmond Company, a medical office management and development company, before joining Cousins Properties, Inc. as vice president and director of medical leasing. Prominent projects leased by Kirbo included Meridian Mark Plaza, NorthsideAlpharetta Medical Campus and the Presbyterian Medical Plaza in Charlotte, North Carolina. He was also responsible for the pre-leasing of the EmoryCrawford Long Medical Office building in Midtown Atlanta.

In addition to his real estate experience, Kirbo worked as campaign coordinator for Governor Roy Barnes 1990 campaign for Governor of the State of Georgia. He is a former member of the advisory board for Shepherd Center in Atlanta and served on the board of directors for the Atlanta Ronald McDonald House (ARMH) for many years, including as its chairman. Kirbo is still active on both ARMHs Executive Committee and the New House Committee. He is married, has two children and resides in Vinings.
