Scott has lived in Oregon his entire life, leaving only to serve the greatest nation in the world through the U.S. Army as a Non-Commissioned Officer and as a drill sergeant for over 11 years of active duty. He learned early on to care for sophisticated and often sensitive clientele from his father, Doug Finney, a renowned commercial real estate broker in the San Francisco Peninsula area.

Scott has experience working with a variety of landlords and tenants with spaces ranging from 450,000 SF industrial buildings to 2,000 SF officeflex. He represented in the sale of the Clackamas Business Center 198,000 SF for $27,500,000, 209,000 SF Tigard Central Industrial Park, the 128,000 SF Langer Farms in Sherwood OR, the Andreson Business center 91,000 SF, 85,000 SF Wilsonville Business Center, and the 100,000 SF Pacific Terrace Shopping Center. He has since closed numerous other sale transactions, including representing U-Haul and Tercek Properties in the sale of a 78,000 SF facility for $3.9 million. He has been working closely with banks specializing in SBA loans for the purchase of owneruser buildings.

Scott has executed over 290 lease transactions from 2014-2018. He was Norris & Stevens' 1 Industrial Broker of the year in 2009, 2011 2016 and 2018; as well is the Pinnacle Award winner for 2018.
