Rick focuses on commercial office leasing primarily in the Northwest and O'Hare suburban Chicago submarkets.
Since joining JLL in 1999, Rick has averaged 50 lease transactions per year with his primary focus being landlord representation. Noteworthy landlord clients have included TIAA-CREF, LaSalle Investment Management, Wells Real Estate Funds, Piedmont Office Realty Trust, Morgan Stanley, GSIC Realty, Lincoln National Life, Fulcrum Asset Advisors, Starwood Capital, Bentall Kennedy and KBS Realty Advisors. Clients represented on the tenant side include Cisco Systems, Harris Bank, Bank of America, Whirlpool, Herman Miller and Innovene. Additionally, Mr. Benoy represented Miller Global Properties in the sale of 150 Northwest Point, their 180,000 s.f. Class A office building in the Northwest suburbs.
Prior to joining JLL, Rick spent four years with PM Realty Group. He was responsible for all leasing activities at PM Realty Group's 800,000 s.f. northwest suburban portfolio. Prior to this position, he worked for five years as a Leasing Representative for Manulife Real Estate. He was a key member of the leasing team responsible for all leasing and marketing at Manulife's 1.2 million s.f. suburban Chicago office portfolio, including the one million square foot Schaumburg Corporate Center.
