Rick joined NAI Farbman in October of 2016 as an Associate Broker. He is responsible for coordinating and supervising the purchase (sale or leasing) at an array of Metro Detroit and regional commercial properties with a focus in retail and creative office space. For over 20 years, Rick has represented both tenant/ buyer and landlord/seller transactions providing creative solutions for clients throughout Southeast Michigan.
Rick's experience leads him to be very engaged in economic development in the Woodward Avenue Corridor in Southern Oakland County of Metro Detroit. Completing deals requires a thorough knowledge of the issues and occupancy challenges in these communities, which Rick obtains by volunteering in both the Ferndale and Berkley Mainstreet programs, and assisting in many projects and development programs. In doing so, Rick is able to deal with issues early in the deal process, saving his client's both time and money.
By putting clients first to help achieve their business goals, Rick has a very successful proven track record visible through client loyalty.
Rick received his BBA in Real Estate from Eastern Michigan University located in Ypsilanti, Michigan. He went on to obtain a MBA in Finance from Wayne State University located in Detroit, Michigan. Rick continues his education by attending different industry conventions and courses throughout the year.
