ABOUT COMMERCIAL AGENT Matthew Brutzkus

Matthew Brutzkus is commercial property leasing and investment sales specialist. Focusing on Southern California, Matthew works with landlords, tenants, and property investors, handling a variety of leasing, tenant representation, and sales transactions throughout the region. Matthew primarily manages accounts in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles County.

Before joining CBM1's San Fernando Valley office, Matthew worked at Rootstock Investment Group, a Los Angeles-based commercial brokerage, assessment management, and property sales syndication firm. During his tenure with Rootstock, Matthew gathered and analyzed property and financial data to create offering memorandums to solicit investors. Additionally, Matthew was responsible for managing due diligence in sales and leasing transactions.

Before shifting gears to pursue commercial real estate, Matthew worked in various foodservice and hospitality positions. His range of duties included menu development, purchasing and inventory management, operations oversight, and marketing, in addition to hosting, food preparation, takeout fulfillment.
