Native of Mobile but has called Birmingham home since 1979. Married since 1976 to the former Jane Rast; three children and four grandchildren. Real estate profession in 1979 after three years in the retail furniture business. One of the original founders and executives of Lawrence-Arendall-Humphries Real Estate, Inc. in 1992. Sold his interest in the company a few years back and is now active in the commercial division of the company. Experienced with all types of commercial properties from the perspectives of sales and leasing, development, and construction management.
