C. John Brasher joined the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Properties Group formerly Prudential Commercial Real Estate FL team in 2013. With over 40 years in real estate, he has developed a multi-faceted background in all areas of commercial and industrial real estate marketing, investment, and development in the West Central Region of Florida. His expertise includes presiding over the development of industrial parks, commercial subdivisions, medical office campuses, and single and multifamily subdivisions.
Brasher has received the CCIM and CRB designations from the Commercial Real Estate Institute and the Council of Real Estate Brokerage Managers, respectively. He is affiliated with the National Association of Realtors, and is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a business administration degree in finance and marketing. He is a member and Past President of the West Pasco Board of Realtors, member of the Florida Gulf Coast Association of Realtors, member of the Florida Association of Realtors, and member of the National Association of Realtors.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Brasher has long been a community activist, enjoying membership in and serving as Past President of The West Pasco Sertoma Club and the Rotary Club of New Port Richey. Rotary honored John with the Rotarian of the Year and two Paul Harris Fellow awards. He was a charter member of the West Pasco Sertoma Speech and Hearing Foundation, the Pasco Committee of 100, and the Pasco Economic Development Task Force Committee. Brasher was also a gubernatorial appointee to the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council, participating on the Transportation and DRI review committees, and is a member of the Pasco Economic Development Council, serving for ten years on the board of directors.
John enjoys golfing and spectator sports and receives much joy from his son, daughter and five wonderful grandchildren.
