
Jay Hintze has spent his career working in various aspects of the real estate and construction industry in the State of Wisconsin and provides a unique, seasoned approach to commercial real estate transactions.
Jay served as Mayor of the City of Glendale for two consecutive terms and has been heavily involved in politics on a local and state level. As Mayor, Jay spearheaded the re-development of the Bay Shore Town Center, a life-style project with office, retail, and residential in Glendale, Wisconsin. Jay was instrumental in facilitating the sale of East Lake Towers, a 240,000 SF medical office facility in Glendale. By use of the vast SVN International Network, a buyer was procured out of Reno, Nevada through an SVN Advisor from Boston. Obtaining business through Global networking and referrals is at the core of Jay's practice.
Jay has a deep understanding of the entitlement process in Wisconsin as well as a broad and strong ability to work through municipal red tape. Jay maintains a significant network of professionals in local government and in the greater Southeastern Wisconsin business community.
As Executive Director and Principal with SVN Hintze Commercial Real Estate, Jay continues to provide a broad spectrum of commercial real estate brokerage and advisory services including site selection, senior's housing and skilled nursing, multi-family, bank real estate owned properties, and note sales. Jay has extensive experience not only of going concerns but also in assisting in re-positioning vacant assets while working with all SVN offices throughout the East Coast and Mid-West. Jay specializes in Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRC), Residential Care Apartment Complexes (RCAC), Community-Based Residential Facilities (CBRF), Assisted Living Facilities (ALF), Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF), Memory Care (MC), and Adult Family Homes (AFH).
Jay is lead for the Senior Housing and Skilled Nursing division of SVN Hintze Commercial Real Estate. Together with Advisors and a research team, SVN Hintze is currently involved with the disposition of over 35 local and national facilities located in Wisconsin, Georgia, Missouri, South Carolina, California, Minnesota, Massachusetts, Florida, Iowa, and Michigan.
