Conrad Bernard started his commercial real estate career with CBRE in 1980 before joining Boyd Commercial in 1996 where he now serves as a Principal and Co-Manager of the firm. A specialist in industrial and commercial real estate brokerage, Conrad is involved in selling and leasing distribution, manufacturing and service center facilities, build-to-suit and design construct projects, site acquisitions, investment property sales and tenant representation.
For many years Conrad has assisted Baker Hughes, a GE Company with their many and varied real estate requirements. Conrad has also had the privilege of representing The Herzstein Foundation in the leasing of their 600,000 square foot portfolio. He assisted The Coca-Cola Company in selling their Minute Maid division's 350,000 square foot headquarters office building.
He is actively involved with the prestigious Society of Industrial and Office Realtors ( SIOR ) since he achieved this professional designation in 1999. Conrad has been elected into several leadership positions within SIOR including President of the local Houston Chapter, Member of the Council of Presidents, Chairman of the Membership Standards Committee, Regional Director for the Southwest Region of SIOR, Chairman of the Keynote Speaker Committee and a member of the Nominating Committee. He also served as a trustee on the SIOR Foundation which provides scholarships for students involved in commercial real estate studies.
Conrad received his BBA in Finance from The University of Texas in 1980.
